A one-day all-day performance race seminar is being offered by North U. and American Sailing Association in Grand Rapids on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Andrew Kerr is instructing, and the topic is sailboat racing rules and tactics. Here is a link for more information and registration.
Andrew is very good, and this seminar should be valuable! Consider attending!
Update on March 14:
Karen and I are registered, but it turns out that Karen will be out of town and unable to attend. If you want to use her ticket, please let me (Chris) know.
Update on March 29:
This was an outstanding event! Presented by Andrew Kerr, affiliated with North U. with insight, clarity, and from a foundation of great experience. The focus was on tactics for starts, upwind legs, mark rounding, some downwind sailing, and applicable racing rules of sailing throughout. Andrew showed a lot of videos and a few powerpoint presentation slides, but mostly just talked.
